A big step in promoting the credibility and international presence of the Freedom of Thought Journal

After years of publishing the Freedom of Thought Journal with the participation of Iranian thinkers, academics, and intellectuals, it is gratifying that the Journal has now joined the ranks of scientific and research journals in social sciences and Humanities.

The first and most fundamental step in this direction was the construction and payment of the Freedom of Thought Journal system, in which the whole process of calling, sending, peer-reading, editing and reviewing, and publishing the Journal online and in print can be managed, and the scientific validity of the published materials guaranteed.

Articles in the Journal will receive DOI from Crossref and be indexed in popular research and scientific databases such as Google Scholar.

This step has been a significant one towards the international and scientific accreditation of works published in the Journal.

The next step is for the Journal to join the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). It was launched in 2003 at Lund University in Sweden, indexing 300 open access journals. Until January 2019, this site will continue to work by indexing more than 12,000 open access journals in all fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and humanities from 129 countries.
