Aims and Scope

The Freedom of Thought Journal (Print ISSN: 2772-7459, Online ISSN: 2772-7556) is a multi- and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal. We are particularly interested in research that addresses Iranian society’s grand challenges from social scientific perspectives.

The journal’s scope is inclusive: it is open to a theoretical, methodological, quantitative, and qualitative scholarship from all areas within the Social Sciences and Humanities. The Freedom of Thought Journal features thematic article Collections on key themes that will be announced in its periodical call for each issue.

Submissions are evaluated on their academic rigor and methodological soundness. Together with the support of an international Editorial Board and prominent scholars in our Advisory Board, we are committed to upholding the highest editorial and ethical standards.
