Criticism or denial of ideology

Abstract

The concept of ideology has no defender in today's world. It is unlikely that he found a thinker and theorist who considered his work ideological. The prevailing ideology in Iran and the world is that the field of ideologies has passed. In this text, after a brief introduction to this so-called post-ideological world, I review the historical roots and contexts of ideological criticism. I try to show that history is a critique of the dichotomy of historical ideology. On the one hand, the right-wing critique, in which the critique of ideology is the negation of Utopianism, and on the other hand, the leftist critique, which is ultimately the critique of idealism. It can be said that these two histories meet in the postmodernist theories of the nineties in the period of the so-called "end of history". In the following, I will try to review the ideas related to how ideology works, and at the end, I will present an introductory map of leftist and rightist critiques in Iran.
