The present article responds to the Journal of Freedom of Thought on the subject of science, power, and gender. The primary purpose is to open this discussion and address how knowledge and access to education play in the social division of labor and power relations in society, relying on academic research. The primary hypothesis of the writing is that knowing, practical skills, familiarity with science and technology means having a position in the social division of labor and power relations in society.
